SUMMARY
Our client’s site was in the Cheshire greenbelt near to the Bollin Valley overlooked by land rising up towards the Peak District. The client wanted to modernise an existing 1950’s potato factory building with a new factory building and machinery to improve efficiency and production standards. Our LVIA report successfully demonstrated that new factory infrastructure could be developed on the existing site by implementing a sensitive landscape strategy and architectural treatments to provide mitigation. Planning permission was given in 2023.
