There was an exciting trip out this weekend with the new studio drone equipment! It was really interesting to see the construction of ‘The Pastures’ housing development by Persimmon taking shape at Pocket Nook, Warrington. Natural Dimensions provided the landscape design and ecology masterplan for the whole project which was integral to the planning process.
Detailed planting designs were also created for all areas of open space. These comprised the immediate landscape around each house plot and streetscape planting, a large central greenspace, pocket park zones and play areas and also extensive wetland habitat. The large scale wetland creation responded to the need for additional newt ponds and drainage attenuation ponds. All areas have been interlinked by a network of cycleways.
