Natural Dimensions have undertaken design work and CGI development to help Conwy Council put forward proposals which aim to improve the pedestrian and cycling experience around the town centre to encourage active travel as part of a pubic consultation exercise. We developed ideas for Princes Drive, Station Road, and Penrhyn Road to introduce rain gardens with seating, tree planting and an improved materials palette which will help to delineate travel modalities. A key part of the scheme was a design for the rail station forecourt plaza which reduces car dominance and creates a welcoming arrival space and town centre square which acts a culmination for the town centre street network. The public consultation runs until the 14th November.
