INTRO
Natural Dimensions worked with Manchester City Council and Wilde Civil Engineers to design and deliver the extensive landscape along a widened highway into Manchester together with the production of a scheme wide management plan. The scheme includes the incorporation of a new bridge over Hyde Road along the Fallowfield Loop cycleway. We provided detailed construction drawings, drainage details and planting plans to create an important and attractive green corridor into the city. The designs include a 150m bioswale adjacent to the carriageway, embankment modelling, and over 100 new trees to create woodland and a formal avenue. We are also collaborated with a local community group to re establish the Gorton Heritage Trail butterfly garden. You can read more information about the butterfly garden project here .
