A landscape and visual assessment and expert witness evidence at appeal was provided for a residential planning application at the Marley Eternit factory site in Cambridgeshire.
The REPORT
The proposed development including recommended mitigation at the Marley Eternit factory, Meldreth, comprised the construction of 142 dwellings with associated Public Open Space a, cycleway and a new 25,000sq.ft factory building The assessment successfully demonstrated that the proposals would have no significant landscape and visual impacts. Although the application was refused at appeal on planning balance grounds, Nick Atherton ‘s evidence at the appeal as an expert witness was accepted by the inspector.
